Once your transfer graphics are applied, the rub on transfers will appear as they do in your File, Document or Artwork. The size of the transfers will also be precisely that of the graphics in your document. Transfer should be Black as the color of the transfer is determined by which Transfer Product you order. It can be said that, once your transfer graphics are applied, what you see in your document is What You See Is What You Get known by the acronym WYSIWIG. With this in mind do not mirror or reflect your graphics if this is not how you what them to appear once transferred. For White transfers, do not make white graphics on a black background.

Rub On Transfer Decals have No Tones of color. The color of your graphic will be imaged from a single solid color. Known as spot color printing, a color such as green is produced from a single color green ink and not from overprinting two color Yellow & Cyan to achieve the green.

The color to use for Rub on Transfer artwork should be 100% K or 1 spot color. It is important to ensure you use only this 1 color for all your graphics & Logos. A good design & print production practice is to setup 1 color and delete all others with in your artwork document. This ensures that 1 object can not be colored accidentally with a different color that appears visually similar on screen. Objects or graphics in a different color will not print on your transfer sheet. The recommended practice is to start with our Document, File & Artwork Creation Templates found here. The Rub on Transfer Template are pre-formated for the size and the recommend color to use. Start designing or paste your existing graphics and re color with the recommended swatch. The color you use in the artwork for a Single Color Transfer does not determine the color your receive. The color of the Transfer received is determined by choosing one of the Single Color Transfer Products listed such as White, Black, Gold, Silver, Foil Etc.

Templates save time & costs with repeatable consistent results.

Our templates have all the necessary presets made and the unnecessary elements removed. When an application is opened and then a new document is created, that new document is actually a template. There may be no content but numerous Parameters such as the default Font, Page Size & Orientation have been preset for even the simplest of applications. Enter Print Design Software and the possible configurations become exponential. While many settings may not appear important for the routine creation of documents printed onsite, the layout of the text can change when printed offsite on another system. The font used in the original document may be substituted for a completely different font style if the other system opening the document does not have the exact same font from the same font company. While our templates cannot solve the font issue, they take care of almost everything else.

To benefit and inherit all the template prests, launch your software and use the application’s OPEN command from the main menu. If the application will not OPEN the template, ensure that system is set to show all readable files. If the template does appear then try the applications IMPORT command from the main menu. An alternative to launching the template from within the application would be to locate the template file, Right Click and choose Open With and choose your application if it is present. In this manner, the application should use all the compatible presets.

If the template will not open with your preferred application, try the other template file formats. It may be possible to copy /paste, place or link to the templates but this method should only be used as a last resort because some of the settings will not be inherited.
